Let's see it!  Daytona RC750's in 1970 did NOT have them. And I have pics from pits at Daytona 73 and it is not on there. Could be put on afterwords for restoration of just 'cause...someone thought it looked cool.

No special cover shown here.

Hey Mark, please let me get home first ;D

It was not the Sumiya CR. But think a Suzuka 8hour bike ridden by Sumiya/Hishiki. But it has the reinforcements. I agree that I never saw it on the older CR's and second your story about the heavy springs.
