Bang Oil every where.
« on: March 20, 2010, 07:08:40 AM »
Dam dam dam. I did something wrong. I got around to putting my spare motor back together so i can sell off my chopper. This is not the first time i have put a motor back together.
The bike started up just fine. I saw that the oil pressure was through the roof. I put it into gear and i had no power the the head gasket blew, sounded like a 22. Scared the hell out of the cats.

So I cant look at it right now. This sucks, i really did not want to sell my chopper any way. This copuld be the universe tell me not to, even though my shop fee is telling me to sell it.
Ok going back to bed rip into it latter on today. Dam dam dam.
Sorry just venting
Yep, i have issues with this sort of stuff.

That sucks man. Any ideas what went wrong?

Sone sleep and a fresh pot of coffee usually puts a better light around things...good luck.

Oh man..thats my nightmare..sorry for you.
My guess is you didnt time your cam properly or stuck valve.
Or you left a rocker set up undone or incomplete.
Or something blocked the oil routing and you siezed quick.
