1981 CB750C brake pistons?
« on: March 18, 2010, 07:53:00 PM »
I just bought an '81 CB750C (One too many cams, I know).  After tearing into some areas that need attention, I've found that the pistons are shot in both front calipers.  I've been shopping around for pistons for about an hour now and have found two websites claiming that the bike requires 4 (front brake) pistons.  I only have two.  I *believe* the calipers to be stock but I could be mistaken.  Anyone know where I can find the pistons I require?

Look up the parts yourself at motogrid or email Dave Silver with the vin number and he may have them, otherwise send them to kevin(ttr400) and ask him to make you some phenolic ones

They should be the same as my 650 calipers and mine are single piston.  In 82 some models did go to twin piston calipers.
