Sad day Today..
« on: March 20, 2010, 09:20:51 PM »
I just get my teaching schedule full, and I hear rumors, that it is just days before the bank comes and takes the inventory thus possibly closing the store (the music store where I give guitar lessons).
I seen it coming but, I thought it would pull through. The store has been there since the mid 60's, and I have worked there in some capacity since I was 18 (i'm now 36).

I can't believe that it may be all over in a few days!

The original owner gave me many opportunites and we were, what I would consider, good friends. The son that took over after he passed did not have the same business savy that he did. Combined with the economic situation, here we are.

I wish him luck. It was a good ride. I prize those memories.

My full time boss (my day job) has possibly offered other " accomodations" if I want. So that may be an option.
