Question about removing clutch and ignition/pulser covers
« on: March 20, 2010, 06:40:13 PM »
Okay, I fully realize that this is probably a stupid question, but here goes:  I need to pull the covers off my 650's engine to refinish them.  I've had the sprocket and alternator covers off before, but no the other two.  When I remove the pulser and clutch covers (after I drain the oil, of course) is there anything that's going to go "sproing" across my garage floor and get lost?  I've been reading through the Clymer manual and I don't think so...but I wanted to be sure before I do something I'll regret.
