Lester Rat Cafe Conversion CB750K
« on: March 22, 2010, 10:13:30 AM »
Since "Project 13" is almost done I am going to thow this out there. No build pictures yet but this is most likely going to be the next starting point. If you have a weak stomach you might want to turn away... LOL

Local swap meet supplied a new set of Dunstall rear sets so the Lester Chopper is going to become the Lester Rat Cafe.

Harley guy thought they were forward controls for a Hog and he couldn't figure out why they would not work...

Look close and you will see a trailer hitch on the chopper... Between the hitch, the extra chrome and the owner and his fat assed G/F they managed to grind the rear tire completely through the inner fender and INTO THE SEAT!

Amazing how dumb luck gets some people through life.

So here is the starting point(s);

Lester Rat Chopper.

Swap meet Dunstalls.

I would love to go this direction but I am not sure I want to deal with a fairing...

So should I use the shorty chopper headers or switch to a 4/1?
It will need a seat and wiring. Good time to change both.

I have a set of original Dunstall clip-ons too, they would go well with the rear sets.

Still "ideating" on this one so feel free to suggest.

They are pretty cool. You should hear how they sound just kicking the bike over (Not running at the moment). I would trade for a Yoshima pipe!  ;)

OK you two are first to be notified if I choose not to go with them! I'd have to find something pretty cool though!
