Clutchcase oil seal
« on: March 22, 2010, 04:08:09 PM »
Thought I was home free had it all stuck back together and said OK whats left. This one seal where the kick start comes through the clutchcase. I have pushed pried and cursed loudly and with vigor...( I had forgotten I learned that kind of language from my DI)

NO JOY >:( >:( >:(

How do you get that SOB out of that hole without buggering the hole??????????? :-\

Any help could save a life (or at least prevent my heart from attacking me again)

Once you have those items in hand what exactly do you do with them? ;D

EDIT: didn't realize I was up against a metal ring....once that came out no problem and the wood chip kept me from gouging the side.

Thanks

now about getting the new one in...woodblock and hammer lightly??

I just battled one today. Pry from the outside with the screwdriver braced against the wood block so you don't scuff the edge of the bore up.
