yes, fishing and spending far too much time down at my local pub. Off there shortly since it's pissing down with rain. Luckily we are virus free (touch wood)
You lucky bugger, we're locked down tighter than a ducks #$%*. Not been out of the house for 41 weeks and it gets worse for everyone else as soon as Christmas day finishes.
My Son is really big into fishing but it's been real hard for him because he only does match fishing for big money and it's been on and off all year and although leisure fishing is ok, he just don't like it. On top of all that, he got his van broke into when he was last out and all his big poles went missing. He only uses the best tackle and to replace one pole is £3,000, not sure what that is in NZ money but I wouldn't pay that sort of money to go fishing. Luckily for him, I came into a nice chunk of money this morning so he'll be getting a nice Christmas present.
