Topic: will a 81 750 seat fit a 76?

I'm thinking about ordering a seat off of a 1981 750, just with I could test fit it on my 1976 750 first.

anyome know how close its going to fit?

It won't be a direct fit, the frame styles are different.
But anything can be made to work with enough effort.

Alan F. thanks for the response, yes I'm aware it can be fabricated to fit. 

But I was hoping to hear feed back from someone that has experienced this and could tel me how close the length and width fitment is on the tail of a 76 frame.
