What exactly is wrong with a K7? I have heard they were the 'black sheep' of the family?
This one is for sale and claims to be a 1979 but is on an E plate?? but is reasonable money  :-\

I think I would eat my shorts if that was a 79. But if it was from the UK, well maybe but I still doubt it is a 79.

Steady Jim - your lady won't love you if you buy it - unless you spend an equal amount on her!

It's her birthday soon and I am struggling to think of something. Alsthough, she has just booked a holiday that she wanted and seems happy!!

The picture gets bad at larger sizes but that looks like a K7. The seat does not look right but it could be a recover. Otherwise, I still think it is K7 thought the tank color looks K8.

The writing / graphics on the side cover look like '77  i.e. "750 Four K"

78's was "750 Four" , I believe...

Mick,
That makes sense, it is claimed to be a 79; perhaps an import?

The 650 sohc went on untill 84 overseas.  Also some places (know counties over here did it) would list the year as the when it was sold.

The 78 had the K on its side covers also. HOWEVER, there wasa badge that said  750 four and the K was done in pinstripe.

Could it be one of those G models I hear about periodicaly?

I don't think the States saw those imported.

Did the k7 originally have an F2 engine, therefore it would have been balck?
