front brake on drag bars... no room

i put drag bars on my 750 and i have the tubes pushed through the trees a little and was wondering if there was a different front brake lever i could use that would take up less room so i dont have to take the bikes front end back to stock height.

Is the lever the problem, or is it the master cylinder?

its the master. it would work fine if i raised the front end where its supposed to be but im too damn short and im trying to lower it as much as possible.

I wish I could find a picture of it, but I (okay, my Dad did it) built little bar extenders for the clip ons that I got for my 750F1 cafe bike. It brought the master out far enough that it cleared everything. I then replaced the MC with an aftermarket one and that gave a bunch more room, too.

I had the same problem with the 350f - I am super short and eventually had to switch to different handlebars.

drag bars are really bad for your wrists.You will see after about 45 min of riding.Puts them at an angle that isnt natural.you will see.

we originally put some drag bars on the goldwing bobber. once we have everything mounted it looked to cramped and we had clearance issues with tank. he ended up using my stock CB550 bars and i used his stock GL1000 bars. the swap pretty nice. he just pulled the stock CB bars farther back. of course that wont work with yours. so i guess im just rambling on.

Shorten your tubes, or shorten the stock MC.

You can exrend the bar a bit too (under the throttle housing)
