Quality of different brands of points
« on: March 23, 2010, 06:37:40 PM »
Does the quality of points sets available online vary a lot? Z1 has a set,
Motogrid has a different set, CMS has an 'Alternative' set, etc

Can anyone recommend a brand or merchant over another?

Thanks!

This has been discused before.  From the Main page, use the search function.   And, yes there are brands which are not straight nor uniform in their construction.  Original Honda are your best bet though there are others that are good.
Now  1972 CB350FX (experimental v2.0)
        1981 CB650c Custom with '79 engine (wifes)
        1981 CB650 engine
        2004 HD XL883C Custom
        1977 Yamaha XS750D (in progress)
Then 1972 CL175
        1964 Yamaha YGS-1T

Do a search for "double sprung points" too or "point float."
