Cb500 front turn signals

Bought a pair of headlight ears for my 74 CB550 from a 1972 CB500 sight unseen. They look like the day they were made! But there are no holes for the turn signals. Do they mount on the headlight holes? If so, how long are the stems? I have tried to find pictures of a 72 cb500, no luck.

Hey now they where on the bike just need to get around to swap them out. You saw the seat that was on it  :)
