The rockers are here, just waiting for the transmission and I'm good to begin assembly. If I can't find an alternator cover before I start on the top end, I guess I'll powder the perfect one off my K6  :-\

That's good news. Looking forward to it. We're on the same track. I'm just waiting for some new washers for my crank studs and some o-rings for the bottom of the cylinders. I ordered 66.8mm X 2mm o-rings from a CB900. The original are listed as 61.8mm X 2mm. The pistons are 67mm vs 61mm stock. 66.8mm was the closest to .8mm over the stock piston size I found. Big Jay put the taper back into the bottom of the cylinders so I thought I'd re-oring it. I had reused the original size on my 812 without any leak issues so I thought I'd try it this way. Couldn't use the old corroded rusty washers either that came off it with everything else thats been done so far. With a little luck the bottom end should be buttoned up witin the next week.

Here's a couple of pics of my Mikuni 33mm smoothbore carb setup on my 1060 mockup engine Jerry. I looked at the Sudco site but couldn't find the parts to do it, so I sent them to Ken Piper (PO and original builder of my gold bike) and he machined up all new brackets and rods and managed to narrow them down to the point where they'll mount straight on to a CB750 without any special rubbers etc. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Looks great Terry! That should scream. Now you're going to make me get out the 73.75mm pistons & start the 1080  ;) Not for a while and I'll limit it to the 1000 set up.

We got some serious #$%* going on here boys!

I know Mike Rieck is hiding his stuff and holding out on us  ;D
