Mesa Boogie F-100

Anybody familar with these amps?
I have an opportunity to pick one up reasonable. I heard the clean and bluesey sounds, but have not heard much on the overdrive/rock sound. Anyone here have one?

i dont own one but i have played through one. if i were still gigging out i'd buy one.

I found a Marshall JCM 2000 Dual Lead for less. I think I may go for that. That way I dont need to dip into any savings. I know what they sound like. I could not find a good sample of the F-100.

If you like Marshalls have a look at these, Ceriatone build Marshall clones for cheap and if you search harmony central for reviews you will see that these are the best marshalls on the planet, all hand wired {point to point} and awesome sounding. I am getting the 2203 JCM 800, i have played through one and it was incredible.....I have had some great amps and the Ceriatone was awesome, best rock sound ever.

Look down the left hand side, he makes clones of everything and Nick {the owner} is great to deal with, no #$%*, these amps are top shelf at a fraction of the cost...You can also buy them in any stage of completion, or build the whole thing yourself..

FWIW, I have an F-30 that I've used around town for the last year or two. It's a lot easier to use than the MK1 and MK3 that I
also had experience with, but maybe is more limited in its tone variety. It seems to be well made, and I've had no problems with it.
