i'm also considering a Line 6 Spider IV 30. loads of features and they have a decent reputation for reliability.

i just got home with the line 6. i played around 15 amps in the size/price range i was looking at and this one was the winner hands down. the sound is great for such a small amplifier, the features and warranty are great too. fantastic value for the money without a doubt. i also spent an extra 30 dollars to get the footswitch that comes with this amplifier

i liked the big Fender but this one makes so much more sense for someone who will likely never gig out again
