a couple of elementary questions.

Blue RTV and similar sealants are not required or even recommended on '74 Hondas, are they?  I was taught to use that stuff religiously on watercooled cars; juding by the condition of my old gasket, there doesn't seem to be any sealant residue, therefore I should not apply

I need to get a new clutch cover gasket and don't necessarily want to spring for a whole kit for the bike.  I'm considering making my own, anyone know the specifications for material I should buy?

The part number for the clutch cover gasket is 11396-300-306.   Expect to pay about 8.00 USD.

that number is good for a '74 350, or is it good for all Honda CB's?

I'm sorry - 11396-300-306 is for a CB750.
