I've been 95 mph on a sandcast (recently) but never felt the need to see the redline.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

I bought a K6 new back in the day. True story; Cb750 vs Ferrari. Stopped behind a schoolbus on Rt. 7 in Kent, Ct. A red Ferrari screeches to a stop behind me. RACE!, me thinks...I pass the bus wide open, now redline in 3rd gear (90mph). Ferrari passes me like I'd come to a stop. Sharp left corner, then a long straightaway. As far as I can see ahead..no Ferrari. Either he went into the Housatonic River or he's long gone. Later bought a yellow leftover F1. That bike would lift the front wheel about 6" on a hard shift into second.
