Nice info. I have worked with the Mikuni's....not the Weber's. CycleX uses the Mikuni RS's which kinda nullifies the deal. Just my OP. Except it doesn't look as cool.

Thanks, looking good. Like the way they point outwards. My Dellorto's point straight to the rear.
How do Weber's compare to Dellorto, setting up wise? Suppose they are a bid alike.
Checked out some parts today:
Idle jet: 57
Emulsion tube: 7772.11
Main jet: 148
Air corrector: 210
Choke: 32 m/m
Aux venturi: 7848.3

Any comment is welcome.

Your jets sound to be a bit on the rich side, but this may be due to the larger choke size, and used on a 736 motor? Do your internal parts look like these?

Carb's where used on a Harley................ :-[sorry.
But for that price couldn't resist.
Jet arrangement looks the same, even the internals look alike. Not exactly...but close.
Think have to look for parts, like jets and 30 m/m chokes.
Waiting for the insulators, and then have to work out the cable arrangement.

Harley Weber baseline jetting for small motors 74 & 80 ci, was the same as each carb on the 750 setups.. so you may be good to goo or at least pretty close..

I have a spare set of 30mm chokes, and would like to try some 32s, just for fun. Would you be interested in a trade, if the Del/Web parts do interchange? (I know the chokes on some Del/Web down-drafts interchange, but they are totally different from the side-drafts)

Can you post a pic of the internal parts like I did? The stacks on Webs slip over the aux, and go into the body. If the Del stacks bolt on flush with the back side, I may know where some are.

 Manifolds are sometimes on ebay, I got a few on there..

 Dell stacks are diecast, flat on the back but have a bit of flange with 2 holes, diff than the Weber stacks.
 i pulled the bombsight and venturi out of a Dellortto  today. They are different, a bit bigger on diameter, and a lot  longer, they wont switch, as far as I can see.

I will check with my friend who has some Dell parts. I looked at the chokes he had a few months ago, but they would not fit my Webs. He also had some stacks, but I didn't look any further than to see that they were flat on the back. I'll check to see if he has any jets, also.

For those looking for parts for the Mic / Solex side drafts, they were used on the home market Toyota 2TG (1600) twin cam engine.  That engine is still very popular, as it is cheaper to build up than a Lotus TC.  A Google search for 2TG?  Mine for Solo1/2 in a Seven started out with those, but I switched to Weber 40 DCOE's because my engine builder had piles of parts, and experience with them.

The short stack has an ID of 42.5 mm, while the longer ones have an ID of 45 mm. The center-to-center distance of the mounting holes in the flange is about 65 mm on all three sets. He also had two different styles of chokes: 2 30s in one style, and 4 30s in the other. Also, he had some jets, but was not sure which model Del they fit. Del mains look slightly different than Webs, but may interchange. I will check this tomorrow. edit: Just checked and found the mains aren't interchangeable. The Webs are larger in diameter where they plug into the emulsion tubes.

Stacks have the dimensions I need.Think dia difference is depending on which Aux vent you use.
Am interested in parts he like to sell.

The short stacks are 1" long (one has some slight damage. Dented and smoothed out some.)
The medium ones are 2 1/4" long.
The long ones are 4" long.
I believe, due to the construction and nickle plate, that these are Web stacks, as Frank mentioned the Dels were die-cast. My friend says the stacks were interchangeable between certain DOWN-DRAFTS; they certainly won't fit on my beloved DCOE side-drafts.
As far as chokes, there are 2-30mm, that may fit your carbs: they are 41.6mm OD, and 34.7mm long.
There are a bunch of main jets, but in pairs of sizes. No four in the same size.
There are four matching idle jets (45), and four matching accel jets, but I don't know if they fit Dels or Webs.

Anyone got suggestions for the cable linkage for the Dell's ?
Most of what I find is for cars and not usable.
