Constant voltage
« on: March 30, 2010, 05:07:40 PM »
Drawing nearer to finish on my 750k8 rebuild, I hook up the battery and my headlight and taillight come on. Also the dash lights are all on. The ignition is off and non of my other lights are on: meaning the four running lights. If I turn the ignition to on position, the four corner lights will come on. Turn the key off and the problem returns to its original state, headlight and taillight only.

Ive spent a day now checking components and referencing the shop manual but I still have more to go. Im bettin my answer will pop up on the forum before I isolate it myself. Anyone else seen this issue? ..... 8)

Only the front should have running lights, and dual element bulbs.

The rear are for turn only and single element.

You hooked things up per Honda shop manual?  (Probably not if you have rear markers.)

Better check the color codes of the wires are matched up.
