I just picked up a '71 CL70 and have some questions. Is there a forum dedicated to these bikes or are there some folks on this forum that can help?

I have a few different Hondas so I have a general knowledge about them. I would be glad to answer some general questions. I don't know anything specific about the CL70's, but maybe someone else here might.

First question.
The kick starter does not engage or catch every time every time. When it does it kicks over easy. I have not pulled the cover off but wanted to check and see what it might be.

Check the clutch adjustment. The kick-starter works in conjunction with the (engaged) clutch to spin the engine.
