Canadian online retailers
« on: March 31, 2010, 06:00:04 PM »
Any fellow Canadians care to recommend some canadian online retailers?
I want to buy a UNI 4055 air filter, for my bike but the sites I look at (bikebandit + denis kirk) having shipping charges that equal or exceed the cost of the item.

Loud pipes suck.......

If you buy something.........pay for it !
If you sell something .......ship it !
If you say you are going to do something......do it !
If you have a question about something......ask it !
When the seller answers ........let him know whether you still want it or not !
If you receive something .....let the seller know you got it !
If you get something and are happy/un happy with it .....let the giver/seller know !
If you have any kind of issue,shipping/receiving/quality/price/shipping charges etc !

Yup - you can order this stuff through just about any motorcycle shop - most service shops are hooked up with the major distributors and can get UNI filters etc.

Where are you located?

I am in Saint John, New Brunswick
The honda motorcycle dealership here is also the harley dealership...... guess which brand they give 95% of their attention to....
They have been pretty much of no use to me, in almost all cases I can get the parts shipped to me for half the cost they want to charge.. and thats if they can find them at all.
They can get the standard air filter for $50.... gee thats a deal.
I can get a UNI 4055 for about $25 plus $25 shipping, its the shipping thats killing me. Hence my desire to find a canadian online retailer, although I might just have to call around to some of the other bike places in town to see what they can do.

If you can't find one I could go to my supplier(Clarington Cycle)get one and put it in the mail for you.......you can check out shipping with Can Post, from Newcastle On......,shipping should be less then the parts I sent you......might take a week or so

I called four other parts dealers in the city, none of them even had a listing for a K&N or UNI filter for the bike.
I ended up ordering it from BikeBandit and sucking up the shipping charge.

At least I should not have to buy another one anytime soon.
