Where to connect the negativ terminal of the battery?

Hi!

On my cb500 the wiring is a total mess. I am trying to rebuild with the wiring diagramm but it doesn't specify where to connect the negative terminal of the battery. Is ist just connected to the frame or to the wiring loom itself?

Big cable to RH rear eangine mount MAKE SURE PAINT IS REMOVED WHERE CABLE GOES
