Took the headlight, tach, speedo off my CL360. What should i use
to plug the hole in the brake drum where the speedo cable goes also the
cable into the cam cover for the tach ?

Try inserting a patch made from inner-tube rubber..........then seal the cavity with J-B Weld.  It can be removed if you want to use the drives again.

That is 10.00 each plus 2.00 shiping for one or two.
Sorry, but I dont take Paypal..

old timer

Have not removed the cables yet to check the size. I was thinking maybe small oil passage plugs the ones that came in the small block chevy behind the timing gear that look like small freeze plugs. Probably not the same size but close.

Where are you talking about getting block off plug stuff for $12.00 at ?

First check that Speedo hole is same as tach end, screwhole locatin matters.. you can use your engine end of the tach cable.

I am not 100% sure the tach ends are same on all, but they appear to be. leys just make sure.

el crapo

Ive had the tach cable out before the screw head is fine on it.
theres nothing left of the screw on the brake drum, been banging on it
with my impact driver no luck nothing to get hold of.

will get back to you not really wanting to mess with it today. Ill put up an attention old timer post most likely tomorrow after i get the screw out in the brake drum. I have a caliper to measure the holes with.
