CB550 LFU 4-into-1 exhaust

I'm looking at the loudfastandugly CB550 4-into-1 exhaust - does anyone know if this installs on a 1978 bike without any modifications?

Anyone have a picture of what they look like installed?

Mmm, sure did! No rejetting, the pipes came with spacers to raise the needles a half notch.

I put a LFU 4 to 1 exhaust system (same system from Ebay) on a CB 500 with no carb adjustments required.  Stock float level and jets and needle setting worked fine.  The machine runs great 2K to 9K RPM with no problems.  I used Kreem Blue Guard to avoid toasting the chrome.  With 400 miles on the machiine all is well so far.

Nice!  I'm glad it's getting good reviews.  Been thinking about getting a set for my 550.  Now I just have to raise the cash.

Anyone know what the LFU exhaust weighs compared to the stock 4-into-4 exhaust? 

I'm hoping to get some weight savings out of the swap.
