Topic: Got it rideable, now I am stripping it down!?!?!?!

Agreed, I really liked the white too. May have to go back to it at some point. But, I was having a hard time, and every time I touched it, it stained and wouldnt wipe off. Black is just easier... Runs so much smoother now... Carbs not 100%, but surprised I set em as close as I got. its a little stumbly on the idle jet, I think I need to go down a 1/4 turn on the screws. @ 2 1/2 turns now. 130 mains seem ok, though I am runnin one old throttle cable(waiting on USPS for all new cables), so I have just been putzing along. Could use a vacuum sync too... Wish I has the gauges to do it. But all in all real happy with the outcome. Got to wait a week or so for all the paperwork, so I got plenty of time to button her up! Will post a video tomorrow, so IC will believe me!

Go you is right.. Very cool setup you have there. Are you going to have to touch up the rims when the new rubber goes on, or are they powdercoated..?

Thanks Zaipai, may have to touch up the wheels, its just spray paint, so no big deal there. I have put a good couple hours on her and I am pretty impressed. Accelerates pretty quick for being 31 years old and having a 250lb dude riding it. Its a little stumbly right off idle, that could be from the stacks, but once you get past that its a rocket. Still want to drop my R1 cam in there and see what she does then... But I am going to ride it for a bit and enjoy it. I'll get around to that video, I swear, I have just been having too much fun with it to stop and make a video!
