Sending it out in half-an-hour...Emailed the Man himself and he said powder coating will be fine after...I'll just have to make sure no coating gets in the pivot holes. He described an easy method to accomplish this...Can't wait! Almost back to rolling chassis...this time, clean and tight!

Rebuilt swing-arm from HONDAMAN with the lifetime zerk back!

Next steps: Garage clean, Powdercoat and buy final engine parts (rings, bearing, rollers)

must get back on track!

bookmark: siriusconinc.com they have alot of push in jets 44 bucks for 16 mains 110 115 120 an 125 an they will let you swap say 105 instead of the 125 or 130 instead of the 110. their up in canada so customs takes a little longer on shipping

Sorry if I missed this somewhere along the line but what did you do for a battery? I checked out the Carbon Speed Products website and their little batteries SOUND great but whats the real word? I would love to get rid of my dead weight battery and go with something smaller and lighter.

just FYI, you can pick up sets of GL1000 bolt kits for about half that on e-bay. but there's nothing like new stuff like those parts! great find, BTW

I wish I had more to report...I moved (with my girlfriend), then I got a puppy...I have not worked on the bike in forever...its killing me

Freaky1 - nothing to report on the battery. Have not made much progress in WAY too long...hopefully get the ball rolling again soon....thanks for all the kind words...

I know the feeling of no work, I did order some parts the other day and they should be arriving soon, always makes me feel better. I just went with the original plan for the batter and got on of the stock sized mount anywhere sealed jobs.

Thanks for the links....I think no signals (other than the bar-end ones) will look really clean. I just got 1974 fork ears so I wont have those massive '78 signal lights up front...

I use that battery works great and is small/lightwieght

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'm going with this style and powder coating them black and using fork gaitors. It's going to look sweet with my 66 black bomber headlight bucket and speedo/tach combo...just need to get them apart?!

I can't remember if I used the Duplicolour or VHT caliper paint, but it holds up well(even to a minor brake fluid leak)
