I have barely run it...not out of the woods yet...but so far so good :)

UPDATE PIC UPLOAD:

Frank these polished up really nicely:



New Clutch friction disk B...I got all new As too...but they are spiral cut and the Hondaman book says those are wrong. Looking into returning them. But I checked all my old ones and they were in spec and looked good (not like that one! No wonder I had slip!)

I learned to put and tighten the lines on BEFORE you put the oil tank in the frame. MUSH EASIER!

This bad boy sure is hard to put on....need to try again...I have a leak at spigot #4 and where they join at the collector...

New crush gaskets...I guess you never really need to change these on the old style spigots?

Got Lanesplitters...actually running them upside down, not like this...I think I like them

So here's the report.

The bike starts right up. But for about 5 minutes if you give it gas it bogs. Then once it's warmed up and let's you give it gas, it runs great. Lots of popping on deceleration. Pulls well. Clutch feels great. No leaks so far.

I'm going to static time it tomorrow.

Sounds like a lean running condition. Might have to get into one or more carbs.

Please do come down here...but IT RUNS!!! And I am out driving it...

It currently is slow to warm up. I tried to statci time it...but I am not sure if I really undertstand how to do it. I tried 2 different methods. One with a 9V battery hooked up so it goes out when the gap closes and the other way using the bike's battery so it goes ON with the points gap closes....I thought the time the gap is closed would be really short and tell you exactly were to set it...but it is pretty long and I think just guessing and turning is slightly and testing is going to be the method. Am I missing something?

It is popping more than than it used to when I am off the gas. But it pulls better than it ever has, when I am on the gas...

I finally counted off the speedo-drive-turns to send the BlackBomber speedo out to be recalibrated

So far so good...No leaks so far (that stain is an old one on the garage floor)

I have yet to start it with the kick starter but it starts with the electric...still tweaking and tuning but mostly just riding

those look pretty good and no reason to lose the passenger pegs...I am betting you will have few problems squeezing some fine little thing onto that Giuliari, nice and cozy

I drove it 115 miles this weekend. So far so good. New Master I ordered from Dime City arrives today. Can't wait to try it out!

It's definitely a different scene.  I like the trackers and invited builder customs.  There are definitely plenty of girls with daddy issues to make it somewhat entertaining.

I've used Race Tech for 2 of my projects.  Both have been an decent improvement over stock.

How does it work? Did you guy physically take your bikes there? I always hear that they are set up for your bike+ your weight...ball park cost?

yep, just call or email...they do all the tech for you.  Installing the parts is fairly simple.  If you can drill metal and take your forks apart, you are golden.  I asked them for an initial set-up for the adjustments, and it is spot on, I have found no reason to fiddle with their adjustment suggestions.
