« on: April 06, 2010, 11:24:53 AM »
o.k. now that i know i have a 76 550k tank (Thanks TT) i need a petcock. i know its a 3/4" bung. but most listed are specific to a bike and not listed with the actual size (for the most part)this isnt a restoration, so i really dont want to spend an arm and a leg, nor can i afford to... are there any options? what other makes/models are compatible, i could spend days going through parts fiche's but.... any ideas ???

Thanks
D

The '75 and '76 F and K models are the exact same petcock, if that helps.

Yes, the 75 and 76 models CB550 F or K will work.  I highly suspect that fuel taps for the 750 line, same years would also work. I have no demonstrated proof, though.
