Rebuilding the engine in my '77 CB550F and decided to check the Piston to Valve Clearance since the head has been shaved and I'm using aftermarket pistons and a mild street cam from WebCams. I think my intake valves are way to close..about .017 in. if I'm reading correctly. The exhaust valves seem fine. I was hoping someone could chime in and tell me if I'm reading this right. I believe I should have a minimum of .040 in.
