Topic: question about carbs compatibility for CB550

I would like to know if '78 CB550 carbs will fit on a '75 CB550.

This is the wrong forum for this question, it probably should be in the SOHC/4 Bikes forum. I wish I could give you a good answer but I'm not sure if they would or wouldn't fit.

He already asked in the tech forum, and apparently didn't like the answer.

So, ....how about this answer?  Yes, if you change enough other stuff on the bike?  It is not a direct swap, but work hard enough and you can make them work.
