K8 Dual disk install help

I am in the middle of installing a second disk on my K8.  I have read about the challenges with the speedo drive.  This is where I would like some help or feedback from anyone who has put a second disk on the K8.
Before people with non K8s chime in, please understand the K8 is different from all others.  Also I rreally don't want to swap hubs.

I have GL mounting bolts and a drive cover if anyone has used the cover.

I have a K8 and they are slightly different. There is a member that machines adapters for the speedo drive. Also if you do a search you will find some very detailed threads on how this is done including how to modify the original drive. I have not doe it yet, I have the second caliper being rebuilt now.
