Another movie with a good crystal ball was Robocop.  Plenty of good satire in that one.

When I first saw "Max Headroom", the idea of cameras following the police on a raid or bust seemed far fetched.  Then "Cops" aired a few years later.  Art imitating life or life imitating art?

Red Heat was good too.  One of Jim Belushi's (sp?) first movies.


Just got back from wally world and they had a double feature of Raw Deal and Maximum Overdrive in the $5 bin.  Yardly Smith is in MO aka Lisa Simpson.
