Funny, before Bobby wrote that I wrote and deleted:

Remember to keep your hands behind your back.

Then I thought, "Derek could just head butt her, or kick her."

So I just left well enough alone.

So?  What happened?  You can't throw out bait and not tell us what you caught.

a guy came to pick up my daughter years ago and I was in the back yard shooting my compound bow.  When my daughter came out she asked him if I had said something threatening and he said no.  Your dad said he would never shoot your boyfriend with an arrow again because it took him three hours to track and find the last one.

I figured before my wife and I had kids that God would punish me and give me all girls, just so I would understand what I put several fathers through. Thank the stars I have two boys and only one girl, the boys are 7 and 3 and she is 5, right in the middle, maybe I wasn't so bad after all?  ;D

I have recently had to have a discussion with the two older ones about how daddy wishes he could be their buddy all the time but sometimes daddy has to be daddy. I tried to make it clear that even if they get in trouble and I have to bust them that I still love them, no matter what they did.

My wife is a labor and delivery nurse and I've suggested jokingly (maybe?) that someday she take them to work and show them just what it's all about. She works at the city hospital and unfortunately there is no shortage of underage kids showing up in the situation of the boy who could be king but clearly now is a dick and the girl being stuck.

I had been walked in on by both my parents and both situations came out very different. The situation with my dad started the same as yours seaweb, he was in the garage and we were downstairs, needless to say she left right after that. He called me out in the garage later and we had a talk, one of the few that I remember in my youth where my dad talked to me like an adult. While I'd like to say it changed me it didn't, I did begin using protection but still kept screwing around.

My mom, on the other hand, freaked out and called the girls mom, the girls mom came over directly and picked her up. Needless to say she banned her daughter from seeing me and I'm not sure what else but none of her friends would talk to me either after that. I did manage to get a moment with her at school sometime later and apologized, told her I didn't mean to get her in trouble and hoped she'd forgive me even though we couldn't be friends or date again. I found out years later from someone else that she thought what I said was very cool and didn't have any bad feelings towards me.

I think you handled this pretty well seaweb, even given the stupid stuff that has gone on since. I'm sure someday your daughter will see that daddy was just doing daddy's job and realize that you were right.

I grew up with 3 sisters... believe me I know the rules without them ever being explained to me.

The kid was a typical teenage jackass boy piece of #$%* (I was one of those once) running to mommy and daddy to solve his problems.  Your daughter is a typical 16 year old bag of hormones who will give butterfly kisses and sweet talks when she wants something and other times act like a cat that just fell into a puddle.

Best of luck to you and hope that that KJ or whatever the hell the boy's name is grows a pair and takes responsibility for his actions.

wasn't meant to be an insult

there is a reason many fathers are bald.  From ripping hair out.

teenage girls are hormone factories  they say "I love you daddy" one minute and "I hate you" the next.

I'm just so done with drama around here.
Had another unrelated major episode again today ::)

I think I need to just lock my home office door until every ones asleep. Living with one with raging Hormones/and one with a lack of hormones is a no win situation.  If you want me knock ;)

We women would be so much easier to deal with if we just had a big adjustment knob on our backs to dial in how much hormonal activity and what type you wanted to deal with today.  ;D

hehe. yeah.  :D

Well, in all honesty, they get sore right before and sometimes during that time of the month for most women. Also, for many women, just wearing a bra hurts. So you can imagine that they don't like to be manhandled or motor boated then. If you keep that in mind and be nice and soft during that time, you will fare better in the long run and your wife/GF will think you are incredibly wonderful for understanding and thinking of her comfort.

Or don't do any of the above and get your hands smacked away. Whatever type of foreplay works for ya.  ;D
