Who left the note in East Nashville?
« on: April 20, 2010, 05:35:31 PM »
I was at a friends house in east Nashville (off of Eastland Ave) this past weekend and someone left a note about this forum on my bike.   ??? I was just wondering who it was? Maybe we can go riding sometimes. I don't have much anybody to ride with as of now.

And sorry that my bike is so ugly right now! I've only had it a week so it sits as I bought it. I have big plans for it though. My thruxton will have to be my pretty bike for the time being  ;D

I dunno man, but welcome.  Post your intro in the new members introductions area  http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?board=58.0

and then check out the area specific boards, maybe post this question there?  http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?board=3.0

Cheers and congrats, you're home here.

I've got a '77 CB750K. I picked it up as a project. I was actually already on this board when I got the note. I just kinda stubled upon it so I thought it was a good sign to find that note. I'm pretty much just lurking here learning as much as I can before I start tearing it apart this winter. It's just gonna have to sit in the garage collecting dust for a few months before she gets pretty.

Haha... Well I don't think she's bad at all for what I paid. Besides the normal wear/tear parts that need to be replaced on a 33 year old bike, she's really clean. I took the screen off and swapped bars and the front end looks much improved. I've just gotta get rid of that seat now. I'm gonna try to go with BCR body on her but I may get the stocker recovered for the time being. I'll just have to check prices when I get back to Nashville to see if its worth it. Anybody know of a good upholstry shop in Nash?

Thanks Havoc. I guess I should rephrase my original comment to "ugly seated". Besides that, she's ok.  ;)
