Simply MARVELLOUS! I can't work the video...cause there's some funky S&%T going on with my computer... but I am imagining it...and it's beautiful! ahah another TRUE SOHC inspiration for all us other resto-munkies! CHEERS!

Yes Joe the bike fired write up after a complete rebuild with no choke. The CR do have a choke if needed. It runs strong with no hiccups or bogging down. The only thing I had to adjust was the idle. You will not be disappointed in the CR's.

Of course I still ride the hog, I have too much wrapped up in it not to, lol. I also love the tq the hog has and the laid back feeling when I am on it.

I can't wait to see how my CR carbs work! They jetted mine with 120 mains, and that's why I was wondering what you had inthere right now. probably going to end up with my 115 jets I ordered with it. Also ordered 125 in case it needs more, but I doubt it.

makes me feel good to hear your bike start so easy on them. do they have a choke at all, or no choke?

Thanks HN. You are not missing much with regards to the video. Crappy cell phone vid. I will get a better quality video up once the bike is 100% complete.

wow that thing is amazing. mine is almost as clean but it has only 5k original miles on it and it was stored in a barn before my friend bought it and cafe'd it out. gotta get my camera back from my bother so i can take pictures of it and get them on here.

Here is a better sound clip with the Mac 4- baffle I made up. I finished up making the seat, just need to get it installed on the bike and work out the license.

Great job and it looks super clean! Can you tell me how you relocated the idiot lights (neutral, oil etc) at the front? Looks very good!

Thanks Andy. I used the stock gauge bracket and picked up one of Carpy's ignition relocation units.

Then I cut off the tabs on it and bolted it to where the old ignition mounted. I bought an older model ignition unit from a 76 and earlier bike and re worked the wiring so I could get rid of the the big a$$ 1977 style ignition switch. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the props guys. The bike hauls but I need to work out an issue with the clutch. It was like the clutch was not completely disengaging. Should have it all wrpped up this weekend and will get some completed pics and rise video up.

How is the power? does it come on linear, or with a big high RPM powerband?

does she try to wheelie on you?

mine is pure linear with a scream at 7K+

Power is great! and a bit surprising. Due to my clutch issue I have not had much time on the bike yet and when I am on it the slip is so bad. I have not taken it over 4000K do to my rebuilt motor, I am waiting to break it in.

I am extremely happy with the CR's also.

I will post up a video and ride report once I can get some real time on it.

I got all he clutch issues worked out. The Barnett plates didn't want to work properly so I put the old plates in with the Barnett springs and it works great. I will more than likely order the A.P.E extra plate clutch set and try it out. The bike just wants to go and I have not even taken it over 5K due to breaking in the engine build. Only other thing I want to have done is a proper seat made up by an upholster. I made one that passes the 5 foot test but not what I wanted for this bike.

Now it is time to put down some miles and lay down the wrenches...for awhile, lol.
