Thanks for all the complements fellas, it means a lot.  Calling the body parts "tins" comes from my ays building harley's, lol.  All the credit for the paint goes to Larry at Meticulous Paint.  I just told him the color combo and Honda wings I wanted and Larry worked his magic.

Thanks everyone.  I'm pretty happy with the results so far.  Tweakin's been a great customer.  Wait'll all the parts are polished, then they'll really come to life.  I'll get em posted up here in the next few days.

Thanks, RR..I would absolutely love to come to Australia.  I know a guy I just finished a Ducati 750SS for that's from there.  (pics in Services Offered "Got Paint?")  His dad has a couple hundred vintage bikes that he's going to dig into and start restoring.  I told him if he ever needed help to give me a call.  I'd be there with bells on!

Looking great man!  You got me contacting nvr2old to get a paint quote.  I live just up the coast - I think if it's cool I'll take the Speed Triple down to Tacoma this summer sometime and check out your work as inspiration for my own project.  Cheers from BC!

WOW Larry, you did it again!  I am amazed at how great everything looks.  I am going to try my best to make it over this weekend.  It is very impressive how you can take somthing as simple as an idea and make it a work of art.  I too think it will complete my build and take it to a whole nother level.  ;D

Here is my solution to simplify the rear end of the bike (get rid of the turn signals).  I know it is not DOT but I really dont care.

Cb750

This will all be tucked up under the tail section on my bike once I pick up my paint from Larry (nvr2old)

The turn signals in the license plate bracket is very cool.  I removed the signals on almost all of my bikes, too, just 'cause it looks so much cleaner w/o em..but that's a nice alternative.

Really cool tweakin. Is this a custom job, or did you purchase the plate with leds? I thought there was a tail light like yours that had integrated signals... LED integrated brake blinkers

Yes, I saw that version of my taillight also, great price, but I wanted something a little more visible.  I picked the license plate frame up from a company called billet brothers.  They make billet aluminum Harley parts.

I used the same tail/seat from Airtech on my 550.  Installed a Yamaha Warrior LED brake/turn unit from Custom Dynamics.

http://www.customdynamics.com/Yamaha_tail_retro.htm#2002-2005_Yamaha_Road_Star_Warrior_Integrated_LED_Taillight_

Its DOT, very bright, and fit the shape almost perfectly.

thanks RR, I appreciate the comments.  I think it will turn out nice and clean up the rear end a bit.  I am also going with the Joker Machine front LED's that are much smaller than what I am currently running.
