That's kinda funny as I have Sato drag reasets on my busa....they came with no return spring. I machined a top-hat looking piece, shortened a CB750 cam chain tensionior sprinf to fit in the base of the rear master and fit into the top-hat. It has worked perfectly for many, many miles.
 All that fitting stuff takes innumerable hours....at least that is what I have found. ;)

Thanks man.  I know I have a long way to go to be proficient but I love shooting bikes.  Only way to get better is to keep shooting and experiment with the camera, lenses and lighting.

Nice glamor shots, Tige.  That bike is so freakin' beautiful.  Love the engine covers and the rear sets.  I would definitely submit some pics to Motorcycle Classics magazine.  I bet they would be very interested in doing a writeup on that jewel.  Just sayin'... ;D

Thanks for the compliments everyone, means a ton coming from this crew!  Rather than start another build I talked the wife into letting me upgrade my camera and lenses... and of course take pictures for my daughters soccer team. ;)

What part of Michigan? If you are near Kalamazoo get in touch with Ekpent (Eric) and get a tour of his shop and his 40+ bikes.

you will be about 2 and a half hour drive from me and Ekpent.  I have been to a couple large jap bike salvage yards on the east side of the state but don't remember names or exact locations.  Detroit is more chopper culture.  There are some good mom and pop independant bike shops scattered about, and look up Cafe Racer in Ypsilanti although I doubt there will be much going on there this time of year.  Generally, MI is all about Hardley Ableson.  If you were to ride around with a set of Clubmans, you will get asked why your handlebars are upside down...
