Thanks for the props, your frame kit made this build so much easier.  I hope to get some time this weekend to get carbs/exhaust on so I can fire it up and pray for no issues.

Just Excellent!! You're putting my project to shame! ahah  Love it man! Love seeing it come together!
Cheers!

Almost completed.  I oiling it up tonight and will fire it up in the am.  I still need to redo the seat I made because it looks like ass and work out the license plate location due to possible clearance issues.  But here it is.

Man OHR that is a sweet looking scoot.  I live by UPS (University of Puget Sound) close to 6th ave.  I went one size upon the CR carbs for the 836 and pods, but can't remember what the size was.

A little video I shot from my phone, not the best quality but you can get an idea of the sound of the Mac 4-1 with the baffle I built in it.

I am currently running one size larger on the stock cr jets and I have not touched the air screws yet.  I will do some more tuning (if needed) once I get my seat done and get out on the road.

Thanks for the kind words Joe.

I used to hit Westport up a bit but with two little girls it's hard to find the time anymore.  I would rather ride or wrench when I get some free time.

Beautiful bike!!!

My 78 hopes to look like that one day.

How did you go about replacing the gauge bracket?  I love that clean look with just the lights only.

Thanks for the good words.  I used the stock gauge bracket and picked up one of Carpy's ignition relocation units.

http://www.cb750cafe.com/parts.php?id=107

Then I cut off the tabs on it and bolted it to where the old ignition mounted.  I bought an older model ignition unit from a 76 and earlier bike and re worked the wiring so I could get rid of the the big a$$ 1977 style ignition switch.  Hope this helps.

have you rode it up the street yet?  does she bog and hiccup, or run smooth and strong?

I can't wait to see how my CR carbs work!  They jetted mine with 120 mains, and that's why I was wondering what you had inthere right now.  probably going to end up with my 115 jets I ordered with it.  Also ordered 125 in case it needs more, but I doubt it.

makes me feel good to hear your bike start so easy on them.  do they have a choke at all, or no choke?

Thanks.

hope you still ride the hog...I ride mine, and still enjoy the torque!

The bike is looking great. I really like the color, and my paint is actually going to be similar. Good to see other F's in action.
