Thanks HN, you flatter me. No magazines for this scoot even if it was nice enough (not close), I built this bike to ride.

Finally after waiting for 4 months my black anodized superbrace shows up.

They kept having problema since they said no one has ever ordered a black one for a Gl1000. They had to re anodize 3 times to get it right, but I am more than happy with the results and would recommend Superbrace.

Brace looks sweet! I'm going to run one of those on my gl front end as well! I'll just get the polished one from Randakks, they run about $200 or so. Do you mind telling me how much you paid for that and where you ordered it?

It was $200 from www.superbrace.com. They make a great brace and have even better customer service. Did the coils/wires show up?

They did, wednesday, sorry I didn't let cha know, had a week long trip to plan for. But they look great, can't wait to install them! Im going to use different wires, as I didn't know they were included, so that was cool! I'm going to be using some red and black braided wires, cool little trick I think!

Good. I figured you already had the wires worked out but since I couldn't use those with the dyna2000 I thought I would throw them in the box rather than the trash.

That was a great Hawks game and M. Lynch had one of the greatest runs I have ever seen! Anyway, I love your project, I might have skipped over this but what size wheels and tires are you running on the front and back?

Thanks man, its been a fun build. Not too much more planned. Just some new rear suspension and some head work.

I have been wanting to put some led strips in my gauges since I saw a few members on the board do it. Love the ideas that come from the forum.

I like the red, anything that helps keep your eyes focused on the road and not two glowing things is great, bright gauges suck.

I just might have to steal you paint scheme for my build.... Bike looks great man I'm still at the stages where I need to figure out what gets chopped and welded before it goes to the powder coat guys. I'm guessing the GL1000 front end has more balls than the stock 750 front end? Time do to some homework.
