I'm bluetoothing them to my computer now. Hang on, hang on...  ;D

I wish I could have balanced taking pics with holding onto the bars.  :D We had quite a string of bikes going through PDX yesterday.  8)

...that was only the second time the norton broke down on the ride. prior to this picture, the float bowl screws had vibrated loose, and the gasket had disintegrated and half blown away and half ended up in the bowl. before the ride was over, i managed to lose one of the bowl screws again, and finally break my clutch cable. at this point, i bump started it in second and limped up germantown to skyline tavern and called someone with a truck.  ::) it was a blast anyway!

thanks a lot everyone. the ride was great, and the party was an absolute blast. mark your calendar for the summer event!

So okay... what was going on way up the street from us when we were leaving the tavern? I saw a ton of smoke but figured it was Paul's bike acting up. I wasn't sure since some of the guys were racing and horsing around. I had a sheriff behind me so I kept my speed down and stayed next to a car to keep him back for a bit so you guys would have some time to take your turn. Then some cop coming the other way turned around and headed after you guys. Pulled someone off the road just as I was turning off 30. Is everyone alright? I know no one had more than 1 but if he smelled it from the helmet and depending on how much of a hard ass the cop is...  :-X

one guy got a ticket for no headlight and no oregon license. we were planning to keep going until logie trail and take that back up to skyline, but when i saw the cop do the u-turn, i took a quick right back up rocky mt. road... let him try to catch us up that.  ::) ;D

they ended up catching back up to us a while later, while we were waiting at the top of mcnamee for everyone to catch up. worked out great. this is also where the harley rider dumped her bike trying to turn left onto mcnamee. oops.

Ah, that's good they didn't get harassed. I didn't notice anyone without a light.  ???

We would have come over afterwards but Kit wasn't feeling well. As it turned out, she just needed something to eat and a little nap and all was better.  ;D Her stomach problems can put her out of commission sometimes so I was glad it wasn't that again.

Very cool to see y'all again. I think we'll stay off of that one road with the gravel though. Wow. I almost lost my ass end a couple of times. :D

I'm glad everyone was okay and had a good time. That's what it's all about. See ya next time.  8)

Yep, sitting at 12.5. I've got a lot of work to do, 300 miles did not sit too well with her  :D
