Another Place I Go For Some Great Folks And Their Vehicles
« on: April 10, 2010, 11:38:05 PM »

Just last year I was looking for a place to talk about and see Dodge Chargers (the OLD ones) and next thing I know I join a group called ChargerZ and out of that comes a group called "Great Plainz Modern Mopars". There are 4 of these groups. They are in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma And Arkansas. A member of the ChargerZ forum, sent me an invite to come over to the Arkansas Chapter of the GPMM and I did. Now, these folks KNEW that I had the OLD GTX and that didn't matter. They have welcomed me into the group with open arms. These folks are something else. They are totally dedicated to the New Chargers and are doing some really cool stuff to and with them. Also, being pretty local, they have gatherings called "Meet and Greet" ever so often as well. They also, as a "Need" arises, will set up a car show and donate the proceeds toward whatever the cause may be (for example, a members relative may be having trouble with medical expenses and these folks will raise to the occasion and help out). I'll tell ya, its like I've stumbled onto a CAR version of the SOHC4. When I told the story behind my passion of getting this GTX, I was almost immediately given reassurance that if I needed something, all I had to do was ask. I STILL have my alligence to this place with such Great Support, but my 2nd place is the Great Plainz Modern Mopars. Here's a photo of some of the group that were at a Cruise in Rogers Arkansas and the photo was taken at the Home Depot Parking Lot.
