im trying to replace the acorn nuts on the top shock mount of my '75 550.  Is 10mm x 1.25 the correct size?

754-TIP;
 If you lack pitch guages, metric style..

 1/4 x 20 tpi bolt...if that matches your Metric thread it is 1.25mm pitch..

 3/8 x 16 tpi bolt.. if that matches it is 1.5mm pitch..
