When you place the long swingarm bolt back on, does it matter if the rounded nut goes on the left or right side?

I have been led to believe that the grease fitting on my 78K is not a standard zerk fitting. Does anyone know if it is pressed in or threaded. It is not accepting grease. I have taps and zerks, I just want to be prepared if I go to change it.  

Most of the stock ones I've seen on those are a 45 degree North American zerk with 1/4-28 threads.  

lol. . .yeah, I found some inch hardware on my bike but not zerks. When I got my swingarm back from you, I drilled, tapped, and installed new METRIC zerks, thank you very much.     (6mm x 1.00 if I recall) The old pressed in ones would actually pop out when trying to get any grease in there?!

I found a pack of all different angle metric zerks at a local auto parts hardware store (Baxters) for like $6 or something.

IIRC, I think you didn't send that big bolt. Otherwise I would have done that for you.

Mechanically, no. But, some of the bikes have a brakelight switch bracket hanging off of the bolt on the right side, so the nut goes on the other side or else the bracket won't fit. 
I think those are the 350s, not sure at the moment...

IIRC, I think you didn't send that big bolt. Otherwise I would have done that for you. 

No, I didn't send the bolt as I was planning on adding real zerks before I decided on having the swing-arm rebuilt. I was just kinda joking about making sure they were metric zerks-it's kinda a pet peeve of mine when people mix sae stuff up on a metric bike or car (and can lead to big problems)

It wasn't a big deal anyways to install the zerks and they turned out fine as I can wield a pretty mean tap and die, lemme tell ya!  lol

Anyway we could get some specs on the sizes of the bushings. My dad could clean my collar up and make new bushing but i need to know the size. like how long the flange is on the end. Id love to send it to hondaman but im poor and if i could have my dad make some new bushings and get me back on the road that would be nice.

I've detailed all that 4 or 5 times: search the forums and it should pop up in someone's swingarm thread.
