yes ... me!    have watched every practice session , god its been a long winter but the real racing is finally back

great motogp race , pity about Casey but great to have nicky back where he belongs , spies looks like he is the real deal ,and how fast was the honda!
only bad thing is the moto 2 race was just like another supersport race , im missing the 250s all ready

Yea it's been a long dry spell but it was a good race.  It is a shame about the 250's.

For all MotoGp fans:
You can join in an online game betting on racewinners and other random events during the races and season. There's no money involved, it's just for fun. Check it out here:

http://www.mototheory.com/home

That was indeed one of the best race i've seen in a long time.

I thought the Moto2 race was alright. NOT as good as 250! But the racing was tight, way too many bikes on the grid though. I thought when the 500s ended that GP wouldnt be good, but its still great.
Yea, I was glad to see Hayden & Spies up there! I think Spies might be up with the aliens before to long. Stoner will be right back up front after that spill. Its great to see him & VR dicing. Lorenzo is strong too. Hopfully Hayden will be on it all season. Should be a great season. Would be great if there were six or seven really fast, top guys.
WSBK has kicked off to a good start too. Lotsa good racing.

yes have been watching wsb as well , its good but .... well not as good as the real thing really . nice from an english point of view as it seems to be british superbike on tour , with a few ex gp men thrown in . be nice if haslam can win it he seems to have come of age this year , and is a top bloke but max will have a big say in it .

I'm with you on that Simon, we need more variety, I was hoping for a 500 twin formula or even dare I say a 400/4 that may have encouraged manufacturers to create a road version. I'm not a fan of control engine formula's it may be good for engineers but I like to see many manufacturers fighting it out on track.

I did notice more than a few Brits on the grid this year! Tea & biscuits under the umbrellas. lol. Haslam looked really good out there, I agree. Im still a Haga fan, go nitro! Thought last year would be his year, & now the Ducs dont look that great so far this year.

the ducati's are down on speed to the fours now but the crucial thing this year is they have lost one of the best team managers of all time . the factory bikes are not performing as well as the althea bikes of checa and byrne despite having a much more sophisticated management system , not good . i like haga but i think last year was his best hope of the championship , having said that there is a long way to go an the next round is assen which is not a power circuit so we will see!!

In the GP wars it'll be fun to watch Spies. While I was paying attention he moved forward from 11th pos. This is quite a feat really as we all know there are no slouches in this class. Young Toseland had some shiny moments at the beginning of the 09 season too though.

Good stuff though...not to miss.

Mr. Rossi needs the young lions to keep his game sharp, and we need them to keep the class interesting.

No bloody fun watching one guy disappear.

Rossi is still the man, I also just expect him to be up front. And he's actually won 9 championships with the 125 & 250! But, I hope Spies is up front the whole season.

Barring mechanical failure......Rossi will notch another championship. ;)

Put Valentino on a Ducati....then things get REAL boring.....same winner week, after week, after week.

That was a great race. What about the round before when Pedrosa knocked Hayden out! That was the day I began really not liking Pedrosa. Sorry, Im a Hayden fan, watched the kid since he came into AMA racing. If I was a few states south, I probably would have watched him dirt track. I liked the 990 bikes, thought I read somewhere that they are going back to a bigger cc bike?
