Honda bars are 7/8" in diameter, in at least one of these auction descriptions i see the number 7 followed by the number 8, but i don't read German, stupid American  ;D, but any 7/8" diameter bar will at least fit in your top clamp just like the stock bars...

there are many variations on the "drag" bar - differences in length and "pullback" and things like that, but any 7/8" bar will fit.

any German speakers???

I can read and understand German.

Then I just need to figure out if it is English or American inches mentioned.

Hey lassenc,

On that referenced page they said the headlight visor was intended for a 6" light.  I believe you would have to change the radius/diameter size for it to fit properly.  That is no biggie to do, but then you have to fab an attachment method.

I built a visor for my headlight, rolling, contouring and trimming to the shape I wanted.  Made out of low carbon steel.  The only trick thing was the attachment.  I made a bracket that is welded to the visor.  The bracket had to be "joggled", with steps in it kind of like this __/ with another horizontal bend on the top (can't do it with my keyboard).  After welding, I drilled and tapped a metric thread through that new bracket for the headlight screws to pick up on and anchor it in position.  Then, it was chromed to look like new.  Far be it for me to lecture, just remember, that if you buy a new one of any kind remember to solve an attachment method.

   Just my 2 cents............ ;D

Well if it has the same size, the attachment must fit, that's a law of physic.

How large is my headlight? Cause the visors come in many different sizes.

In the photo of the visor, you have a formed edge flange that fits between the outer chrome retainer and the inner chrome headlight retainer.  There is no real physical retainer for the visor.  Air currents on the under side of the visor will lift it upwards.  It MAY not come lose, but it will move upwards.

Who is to say that a solid bump on the road combined with 60MPH currents won't move it free?
I do know that on the add ons I have seen, there is enough free play between the outer ring and the inner ring for the visor to move.

Factory installations are different, even Honda's GoldWing had them anchored with detent fittings and screws.

Hi Everyone,

I have to apologize guys, I don't have any info to add to this posting.  I don't know anything about these particular Hondas; fact of the matter is I don't know enough about my cb750.

Just wanted to make a posting to get this back into the spotlight because I know someone can give him the information he needs............ his headlight size.......that seems to be all he really wants to know at this point..........
