drag bar on a cb500

I just put a drag bar on my 72 CB500 and I am having an issue with the front brake. When i pull the front brake lever back it doesnt pull back as much as it used to. Previously i had stock bar and with the same master cylinder and lever it had more clearance. Has anyone had this issue before?

you probably have a kink or sharp bend in the brake line now causing more pressure on the brake system. is the front brake dragging at all? it took some careful routing to get mine right.
