Relocating the idiot lights on a CB750K4
« on: April 12, 2010, 01:03:55 pm »

Thinking about relocating the idiot/dash lights (oil/blinker/neautral/high beam) on my K4 so I can use the middle of the handlebars to hang a bag/thermometer/GPS etc... Anyone got a good place or good idea on how to relocate these lights?

thanks in advance
Andy

I've been trying to figure this out myself. So far my two best options are to either mount them in the speedo/tach gauges somehow, or mount them in the headlight. I've also seen people add a bracket to the gauge mount and moved the ignition. Carpy sells them here for $50:

It's only got a spot for two lights, but you figure you only really need the oil and the neutral light. He also sells the lights so you can mount them wherever else you can find room, though $18 a piece seems a little steep:

Hey thanks for the links and ideas. Very helpful. I wouldnt want to relocate the ignition but making a bracket like that wouldnt be so hard I guess.

thanks
Andy
