I Lived in fla for 21 years and crime was getting outta hand in my neighborhood and I couldn't take it anymore, another reason I will NEVER MOVE back to fla. I was once held at gun point when I was pregnate with son, not fun at all, thank God the gunman showed mercy since him wife just had a baby and that is why he was robbing people.

I had a guy try to carjack me when I lived in St. Pete.
He was a passenger in the car next to me. -got out and grabbed my door handle, but my door was locked.
   So he went to swing something at the window and I popped the clutch, luckily I was at the line(stop light line), and it was already in 1st gear.
   the dude chased me down Gandy blvd. but my car was... shall we say ''way effing faster?'' and I lost them.

   most of my friends and neighbors from that city  are either in prison or dead.

I had a dude try to car jack me with a swiss army knife when I was in LA, I just stepped on the gas and he dropped his knife into my car. Dumb ass.

Jesus.... That is terrible man. Did he make it out okay? I mean besides the obvious problems of being cut, did he live?
