corbin seat
« on: April 12, 2010, 03:18:22 PM »
So I was looking around for seats for my 78 cb750 and saw a trend with a pic of the corbin gunfighter. I emailed corbin to see if they still had any old seats laying around and they said no but the more interest they have they may make 69-78 seats again. So the more emails they get of people wanting seats they may make them again.

I do believe that Ron (MCRider) is going to be running one of those seats, there's pics buried in his Phaedrus II rebuild thread.

Idk on price or design. I like the gunfighter for the gl1000 and they sell for $330. Ill try and get more info from corbin on how much interest they need to start making seats for 750 sohc again. Id think more people would buy there gunfighter style with its cafe style then the touring model but ill see what I can find out.

Yup, thought so, Here's the seat that MCRider is using, it's a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady.  Click the pics for more info.  Looks very comfy.

The last one I bought for a GL1000 like the blue one in the earlier picturte was around $300. But they are SUPER comfortable and very well made. They are not light, but on a long ride they feel like sitting in a lazy boy (In a good way)... I would love to see Corbin resurect some of thier vintage seats. They did a nice CB400F one too in the day.
13 in the garage and counting...
